Goal: Advocate for green philosophy and to be a positive force in creating sustainable and energy efficient communities.
Foreman Properties recognizes that energy conservation and green living have a positive affect on our community and our planet. The balance to meet clients needs while protecting natural resources can be challenging. Thankfully, there is a growing popularity to conserve energy, reduce greenhouse gases and preserve our natural resources. We take pride in continually educating ourselves and our clients about the benefits of eco-friendly options, as we strive to accomplish them in our own lives. These days more and more buyers are searching for homes that will save them money. We are committed to understanding this need and will take efforts to provide valuable environmental information to our clients. We will stay informed of rebate and eco-grant programs that will benefit clients. Our emphasis will be on practical strategic information that can be applied to todays market. Evidence supports the benefits of greener buildings. We believe while green buildings reduce costs they also command relatively higher rents and asset value but as importantly they enhance the health and well being of the occupant.

- Improve indoor air quality by minimizing off gassing products
- Help leave the world a better place for future generations
We suggest a home energy audit as an affordable service that gives homeowners the benefit of learning things about their home (or prospective property) by evaluating its energy efficiency. Upon completion, suggestions are made to increase the home's efficiency therefore reducing energy costs and the carbon footprint. If you decide to follow the recommendations you would be eligible to receive grants of up to $5,000. The Government of Canada has renewed the popular ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes program from June 6, 2011, until March 31, 2012.
